Odei’min Photography is an Indigenous photography service based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The woman behind the lens is Martha Troian, an investigative journalist, producer, and artist.

She hails from Obishikokaang First Nation (Lac Seul) in northwestern Ontario, and her maternal grandmother is from Wabauskang First Nation.

Throughout her career, Martha has taken numerous photos for publication in her stories and has continued her photography outside of work. She is particularly drawn to close-up photography, events, and street settings, including candid photography.

Many moons ago, she also studied photography in a one-year art program when she resided in southwestern Ontario. Today, she continues to take photography classes.
